As per reports, a major Optus outage has affected parts of Queensland, leaving people unable to access NBN (National Broadband Network), on Wednesday (03 December).
It is said to be impacting customers across Brisbane and certain parts of Queensland. Further information is awaited.
Background:
One week ago an estimated 14,000 customers in Melbourne were impacted by an outage that also impacted calls to emergency services.
Impact:
The impacted NBN networks may hamper internet access, as well as calls from home phones and payment machines for local businesses. Businesses are advised to expect disruptions in communication networks, which may result in operational delays.
