Impact:

Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls across the affected districts of Arunachal Pradesh may lead to localized disruptions, including chances of rainfall and gusty winds. Reduced visibility may also lead to hazardous driving conditions, while relevant authorities are likely to maintain close monitoring of the prevailing weather conditions and also issue further local directives depending on the situational requirement.

Such weather conditions could also result in temporary traffic slowdowns, localized waterlogging in low-lying areas, and minor disruptions to power supply due to possible lightning strikes or wind-related damage to utility infrastructure, including the telecommunication network, and power outages cannot be ruled out.

Recommendations:

Advised to remain abreast of further weather-related updates via the official IMD Itanagar website at https://mausam.imd.gov.in/itanagar/.
