As per reports, water levels along most stations on the Saigon River will continue to rise due to the full-moon high tide, with the highest peaks expected on Thursday (04 December) and Friday (05 December).
Tidal levels at Phu An and Nha Be stations, located in downtown and the southern gateway, are forecast to reach 1.65–1.70 m, exceeding the alarm level 03 by 05–10 cm. Peak tides will occur between 0400–0600 hours (local time) and 1700–1900 hours (local time).
Background:
The Southern Hydrometeorological Station reported that in the past 24 hours, the highest daily peak tide level at most stations on the Saigon River has changed slowly. In the coming days, the water level will continue to rise according to the full moon tide of October (Lunar calendar).

Businesses operating in Ho Chi Minh City, in proximity to the Saigon River, are advised to take proper precautions, including moving valuable inventory, equipment, and records to higher ground or securing them in waterproof storage.
