Description:
As per reports, Ohio Department of Traffic has announced the closure of I-271, for traffic in both directions between I-71 and State Route 94 in Medina County, Ohio on Wednesday (03 December).
• The closure is due to an accident involving a tanker truck rollover that took place at 0430 hours local time (0930 hours UTC) on Wednesday (03 December).
• As of 0550 hours local time (1050 hours UTC), road closures are in place in multiple locations on I-271 between I-71 in Medina County and I-77 in Summit County. The estimated time of reopening is not known.
Impact:
• The closure is expected to affect traffic flow between Richfield, Everett, Granger, Weymouth and Medina in Ohio. Freight and passenger traffic may be affected.
