As per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was reported 83 km southwest of Masagua at approximately 1258 hours local time (1858 hours UTC) on Thursday (09 April).
The earthquake was reported at a depth of 40 km.
Impact:
No damage has been reported so far. However, the possibility of aftershocks cannot be ruled out. Advised to remain cautious and seek shelter in case of any further tremors.
